Main Topics

Throughout Bio11, I have learned many wonderful facts about life on earth and the many theories presented. I learned about Animals Plants and many other interesting topics. I learned about the many theories of evolution such as natural selection, Laws of Use and Disuse,  and the modern theory of evolution. Biology 11 has been such an experience, I cant wait for Biology 12 next semester!

Penguin (Vancouver Aquarium)

-Penguins eyes work better in the water than on land
-Penguins are highly social

Arthropods

Scorpions - are part of the archnida class and are predators. They are distinguished by their long tail with a stinger at the end and 2 pinchers

Phasmatodea - known as the "Stick insects" or "Leaf insects" are known for their capabilities of their camouflage.

Stink Bugs - also known as "Shield Bugs". They're known to be agricultural pests. They release a horrible odour when threatened
